In order to alleviate the stress on students (and parents) at this time, Loyola High School will not be administering Entrance Exams this year. Please refer to the section: Apply for Admission – Secondary 1 for all documents required and all steps to follow for the 2021-2022 school year.
Criteria for admission to Loyola High School will include:
- Religious commitment as attested by the applicant's statement on the Jesuit Education Interest Form;
- Satisfactory Elementary School reports (Grades 4 and 5 (Grade 6 when it comes to the Waiting List));
- A Virtual Interview;
- Letters of Recommendation from teachers & others (where possible);
- In an effort to keep families together, having a brother in the school is also considered, provided the sibling meets all the application criteria.
All of these components are reviewed and taken into account when accepting students at Loyola. All scoring, weighting, ranking etc. of these components are for Loyola's evaluation purposes only and are not given out to applicants or their parents. Letters of Recommendation are also considered CONFIDENTIAL.
