Ways to Give

Your gift is critical to keep Loyola strong for the next generation of “Men for Others”.

Loyola relies on the financial support of our alumni, parents, past and present, and friends to ensure that we are able to provide our students with an outstanding academic and extracurricular experience.

The Gift of a Loyola Education

All gifts are eligible for a charitable tax receipt:

  • Annual Giving Campaign: Every year, we ask our alumni, current parents, former parents, faculty, staff and friends to consider giving back to Loyola in order to provide funds that will supply equipment, provide experiences, and afford opportunities to our students that go beyond what regular school fees will cover.

  • Giving "in honour or memory of": You can remember or honour someone special by donating to a bursary in their name. In the case of a memorial gift, the family will be notified of the donation. You may also choose to give to bursaries which have already been established and named in honour and memory of groups or individuals - see the full list here.

  • Planned Gift: To make a gift such as a bequest, gift of securities or life insurance, please call This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. '64, Co-Director of Development, at 514-486-1101 ext. 258

School's Greatest Needs

Donors can make an unrestricted gift, to be used at the Foundation’s discretion.

Student Bursaries

Gifts designated for bursaries provide vital financial assistance to the families of qualified students who lack the financial resources to cover the full cost of a Loyola education.

Endowment Fund

A strong endowment provides stable financial support for generations to come. Gifts to the endowment fund are an investment in the future of Loyola High School.

Class Bursary Endowment

Graduates have come together to create class bursaries bearing the name of their graduating year. The goal is to reach an endowed fund of $120,000 to cover one student’s annual tuition.

Mothers-for-Others Bursary Endowment

Mothers of former and current students support other mothers struggling to finance their sons' educations with an annual gift or monthly contribution of $5, $10, $15 or more.

Adopt-a-Student Program

Loyola is actively seeking benefactors who are willing to "adopt" students for the duration of their time at Loyola. A donor may choose to fund an annual adoption or a half adoption.

Full Adoption ($8,100)

Half Adoption ($4,500)
