On Saturday, December 7th, the LHS Alumni Association will once again collect food in the NDG area in support of The Depot Community Food Centre, formerly the NDG Food Depot.

We need drivers of cars/vans/trucks who will arrive at the high school between 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. and drive Loyola students up and down specified streets. We will supply a map for you.  These students and, if you wish, members of your family, will go from door to door collecting food items and depositing them in your car. Once filled, you will drive to The Depot. This should take about two hours.

The Depot offers over 20 programs dedicated to growing, cooking and sharing healthy food and building community. Last year, over 6,000 people participated in Depot programs and 89% said The Depot made a difference in their lives. The money and donations collected at the annual Food Drive go a long way to help fund/source the emergency food basket program, where over 1/3 of the emergency food baskets handed out last year went to youth. Loyola's participation and support are essential in making this event a huge success year after year.
Soooo, if you can make it on Dec. 7th, please use this link to sign up. We look forward to seeing you!
