LOYOLA ALUMNI SOCIAL MEDIA GIVEAWAY

Sponsor: The sole Sponsor of this Giveaway is Loyola High School (“Loyola” or “Sponsor”).

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Giveaway commences on November 14, 2025 and ends at 11:59 pm EST on November 21, 2025. (“Giveaway Period”).

ELIGIBILITY

The Giveaway is open to individuals who are legal residents of Canada (including Quebec) who are over the age of 18 at the time of entry. Additional eligibility criteria may apply to certain Prize(s) and will be communicated in the Social Giveaway Post for the applicable Prize(s) and posted here. Giveaway is not open to employees and those domiciled with employees of Sponsor or its parent, subsidiary or affiliated companies, licensees or advertising and promotional agencies or prize providers (collectively, the “Giveaway Parties”). Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility of potential prize winners including but not limited to verifying that potential prize winners are not an employee (or domiciled with employees) of any of the Giveaway Parties, and without verification to the sole satisfaction of Sponsor, to deny entry to that entrant. Void where prohibited.

HOW TO ENTER

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Before entering the Giveaway, ensure the post setting is set to “Public” prior to submitting your post on your Instagram account. To enter the Giveaway, you must follow @LoyolaAlumni_mtl and @LoyolaMontreal. Sponsor will post one or more Giveaway related posts (each a “Social GiveawayPost”) on the Loyola Alumni Facebook and Instagram pages (collectively the “Sites”). Entrants must like the Social GiveawayPost and leave a comment. In the event that the Sponsor determines that an entrant has submitted more than one entry, using one or more Facebook/Instagram accounts, all entries will be void and that entrant will be disqualified at the sole discretion of Sponsor.

Any comments that, (i) infringe or violate the rights of any third party; (ii) contain materials that are inappropriate, indecent, contain profanity, sexual content, hateful content of any kind; (iii) contain materials that promote violence or harm to another living creature or any other offensive content (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) or content that could adversely affect the name, reputation, or goodwill of any Giveaway Party; or (iv) contain materials that promote alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing) or promote any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous; shall be ineligible for entry into this Giveaway, and Sponsor, at its sole discretion may disqualify the entrant from entering this Giveaway or winning any Prize.

Entries will be declared invalid if they are late, illegible, incomplete, damaged, irregular, mutilated, forged, garbled or mechanically or electronically reproduced. No communication or correspondence will be exchanged with entrants except with the selected potential Prize winner. Posts that are deleted by Instagram for any reason, including but not limited to violation of the Instagram terms and conditions, will be invalid and the entrant will be disqualified.

Entries received shall be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose name the identified Instagram account was registered. For the purpose of the GiveawayRules, “authorized account holder" of an Instagram account is defined as the natural person who is assigned to the Instagram account by Facebook, Instagram and/or an on-line service provider. Potential Prize winners may be required to provide the Sponsor with proof that they are the authorized Instagram account holder associated with the winning entry.

THE PRIZE

There is one (1) prize pack (“Prize Pack”) available to be won.

The prize pack includes:

The approximate retail value of the prize pack is one hundred dollars. (CAD $100.00)

All Prizes must be accepted as awarded without substitution and are not transferable or redeemable for cash or allowed to be sold, and no warranties or guarantees regarding any Prize are expressed or implied. The Sponsor and any prize provider reserve the right to substitute a Prize in whole or in part in the event that all or any of the components of the Prize are unavailable. In the event that a winner is unable to redeem any or all of the Prize components due to reasons beyond the control of the Giveaway Parties, or their respective employees, representatives, or agents, no compensation or substitute Prize will be provided.

Giveaway DRAW

Sponsor will select a random drawing in Montreal, Quebec on or about 12:00PM EST on November 24, 2025. The Sponsor will attempt to contact the potential winners by direct message to the potential winner’s social media account used for the selected entry, with instructions on how to contact Sponsor to complete the Prize verification process. Potential The prize winner will have three (3) business days to contact the Sponsor. In the event that a potential Prize winner does not contact Sponsor within the specified period of time, they will be disqualified, and another entrant may be selected from the remaining eligible entrants. This process shall continue until the potential Prize winners are selected. Potential Prize winners must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by in writing and sign a declaration and release form: (a) discharging and releasing the Giveaway Parties and their respective partners, parent, subsidiary or affiliated companies, officers, directors, shareholders, or employees (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or relating to participation in this Giveaway or acceptance, use, misuse or non-use of the Prize; (b) confirming compliance with the Giveaway Rules; (c) consenting to the publication and/or use, in any medium of your name, and city of residence for publicity purposes carried out by the Sponsor for without payment or compensation of any kind; and (f) accepting the Prize, as awarded (a “Declaration and Release Form”). In the event that any potential winner is under the age of majority in their province of residence, their parent or legal guardian may be required to sign the Declaration and Release Form on their behalf. If the parent or legal guardian does not agree to sign the Declaration and Release Form on behalf of their minor child, that potential winner will be disqualified and no longer eligible to win the Prize.

GENERAL RULES

None of the Released Parties shall be liable for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected, not received, stolen, mutilated, or garbled entries. By entering this Giveaway, entrants accept and agree to be bound by these GiveawayRules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final, binding and conclusive on all matters relating to this Giveaway. The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify all entrants who fail to follow these GiveawayRules or who make any misrepresentation relating to the Giveaway, drawing and redemption of the Prize. This Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal legislation. Entry constitutes permission to use the winner’s name, photograph and/or voice recording for publicity purposes without additional compensation or permission, except where prohibited by law.

PRIVACY

This Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram. Any personal information that is collected by the Sponsor will be handled in strict accordance with Loyola Privacy Notice, available at https://loyola.ca/privacy-notice and all applicable privacy legislation. Sponsor will not sell your personal information collected for this Giveaway to any third parties. Any personal information collected for this Giveaway shall be used by Sponsor as is disclosed herein. Please note that by submitting personal information to enter this Giveaway, you consent to Sponsor’s use of your personal information in order to manage and administer this Giveaway.

TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES AND TAMPERING

The Sponsor shall not be responsible for any failure of the website during the Giveaway or for any problems or technical malfunction of a telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, or failure of any e-mail, on-line, or Internet entry to be received by the Sponsor. In addition, the Sponsor shall not be responsible due to technical problems, traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer, or property related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the Giveaway. The Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion to cancel or suspend this Giveaway should a virus, bug or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsor corrupt the security or proper administration of the Giveaway. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Giveaway is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are illegible, incomplete, mechanically reproduced, mutilated, forged, falsified, altered or tampered with in any way. Sponsor is also not responsible for typographical or other errors in the offer or administration of this Giveaway, including but not limited to errors in advertising, the Giveaway Rules, the selection and announcement of winners, or the distribution of the Prizes.

NO LIABILITY

The Released Parties shall not be responsible in any way for the use of or bear any liability whatsoever attributable to, any Prize awarded in this Giveaway or the events forming part of this Giveaway. By participating in the Giveaway or participating in or accepting any Prize, all entrants release, identify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and legal claims, demands, damages, action and/or causes of action, all liability or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or relating to participation in this Giveaway or acceptance, use, misuse or nonuse of any Prize or part thereof, and from liability to any other persons relating to or resulting from entering this Giveaway. None of the Released Parties make any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the use of the Prizes, including, without limitation, quality, merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose.

SPONSOR HAS FINAL SAY

Decisions of the Sponsor are final and binding with respect to all aspects of this Giveaway.

CLOSE OF Giveaway

The Giveaway will close at 11:59 pm EST, on November 21, 2025. However, the right is reserved by the Sponsor to withdraw, terminate or modify this Giveaway and the Giveaway Rules at any time without prior notice. In the event that it is not possible to award another entry due to discontinuance of the Giveaway for any reason, Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may elect to hold a random drawing from among all eligible entries received up to the date of discontinuance for the Prizes offered herein.

GOVERNING LAW

All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of the Giveaway or these Giveaway Rules, or the rights and obligations between entrants and the Sponsor in connection with the Giveaway, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec and the applicable laws of Canada.

The Sponsor and all entrants acknowledge and agree that the collection, use, communication, and retention of personal information in connection with this Giveaway will be carried out in compliance with Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (CQLR, c. P-39.1), as amended by Bill 25 – An Act to modernize legislative provisions as regards the protection of personal information.

By entering the Giveaway, entrants consent to the processing of their personal information for purposes related to the administration of the Giveaway, in accordance with the Sponsor’s privacy policy and applicable Quebec privacy legislation.

All parties hereby attorn to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Quebec, sitting in the judicial district of Montreal, in respect of any matter or dispute arising from or related to the Giveaway or these Giveaway Rules.
