Ignatian Pedagogical Paradigm
A world-renowned pedagogical approach.
Deep, transformative learning has characterized Jesuit, Catholic education for 500 years. Our approach is rooted in our world-renowned pedagogical approach that provides students the tools to analyze the context in which they live, to evaluate and reflect on lived experience and empower them to take action.
Our program leads students to a meaningful life of leadership and service rooted in intellectual competence, compassion for oneself and others, actions guided by conscience, and a commitment to a just global society.
Rooted in the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, this unique approach is why for nearly 500 years Jesuit education has enjoyed an unsurpassed global reputation for excellence in developing reflective, critical thinkers and problem solvers who go on to be leaders in our society.
Academic Supports
From sunrise to sundown our faculty and staff are mentoring, coaching, and guiding students because they are more than just educators. They firmly believe in raising our students up to their enormous potential to be transformational leaders in the world. They help students see past their anxieties and self-doubt to overcome their own challenges and, in turn, help the world confront its own. In order to provide as much individual support and guidance as possible for our students, Loyola offers several academic, learning support, and personal/career counseling services.

Senior students have access to a career counselor to begin the process of making informed choices about cegep, university and their future careers.
