The Fall/Summer 2022 edition is now available online.
Featured on the cover is a triptych highlighting our school's commitment to Indigenous education and awareness. On the left, a photo of our students wearing orange during the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. In the center is this year's t-shirt design made by Secondary 5 student, Thahnhahténhtha '23. On the right is alumnus Taiaiake Alfred '81, who is featured in one of the articles.
This issue includes articles by Fr. John Meehan, SJ, former president of Campion College, and Jenny Cafiso, Executive Director at Canadian Jesuits International. Both bring their insight into the topics of the Catholic Church and the journey towards reconciliation and justice.
In the alumni section, along with the news of interest, there is a feature article on BrainBox AI. This article was possible thanks to the generosity of alumni Sam Ramadori '90 and Frank Sullivan '87 who sat down with Loyola Today to talk about their cutting-edge business.
At the center of this issue is a snapshot of the Advancement Office's Annual Report on Giving, displaying the continued generosity of our community in supporting the Loyola Bursary Fund. Loyola High School Foundation Chairman, Dario Mazzarello (P '22) and Loyola Golf Tournament Committee Chairman, Michael Scalzo '97, contributed their thoughts on the importance of supporting bursary at Loyola.
The web version also includes exclusive content: additional pages with 2022 grads and alumni family members, as well as additional photos from the Alumni Reunion Weekend.
